Hello from Seattle...

Hello, hello...this is Sarah (Angele's youngest) It has been quite awhile, and it's nice to see that everyone (well, a few people anyways) are posting again. It's nice that so many of you have facebook, it seems easier to connect that way for some reason.
As for me, I've been very blessed over the past few years to be able to see some of the most beautiful places in this world, and to also experience the most generous hospitality in some of the most unlikely places. My life at some moments has been like a dream to me. Don't get me wrong, I still have a job and have to go to work like everyone else...but talking 2 months off to travel here and there make it worth it.
I most recently returned from Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. I don't know how to put into words what this trip meant to me..it was very personal, very spiritual, and very eye opening, and it was very difficult to come home. But I'm home now and setting my sights on the next trip. Hopefully a full year traveling through all of Central and South America. I worked in Costa Rica and Panama a few years back but did not have to opportunity to see much else. So back to the grind it is. I'm still serving at the same bar I've been at for almost 3 years now. I'll tell you one thing, in this economy, with so many people getting laid off, I'm very lucky that I work in a bar because no matter what....people will ALWAYS want to get drunk!!
Not too much else happening in Seattle..Just waiting for summer to finally hit so I can go kayaking and play out in the sunshine!! Hope to see more posts from everyone...Take Care.

Sarah, What an exciting life you have!!! How fun to travel and see the world. You look great and love the pictures. So what is the biggest challenges you've found in traveling the world? Do you ever find cultural diffences a problem? I'd love to hear your impressions.

Sarah...enjoyed the videos from your adventures...I followed them on Facebook. Very cool. If you are looking for a traveling partner...Cassie said she would love to travel with a pro like you. Would love to hear the stories you have...especially about the pee buckets? LOL!!!-sherri
