the Liebls
I was just made aware that people are starting to access the blog again. cool.
Not much new here in Richmond, Mn or with our family.
Danielle attends the school district (not the school) that had the first confirmed case of swine flu. Yeah!!! Seems ROCORI school district is quite the trend setters and in the news frequently...not always in a good way. Danielle is a junior at ROCORI high school and very busy with Special Olympics, Student Senate, school board liasion, National Honor Society committments, the Athlete Leadership program for Special O, she is a big sister for the Big Brother Big Sister program, and she is a Youth & Theology Minister at our church. Yhew...I am tired just typing everything. Health wise she has been good. She just recovered from a broken foot she acquired at a swim meet.
Cassie just completed her sophmore year at Iowa State. She stayed busy working in the Sociology department, continues to clean rooms at the Best Western, taking classes, playing intramural broomball, and on 2 softball leagues. Anything else she does in college, we probably do not want to know about. She loves Iowa and is staying there this summer with a couple week long trips home. She was recently promoted to supervisor on the weekends at the Best Western and with jobs as scarce as they are, she felt it best to stay with a guaranteed job during the summer and pick up a summer class. We will miss her, and cannot wait to see her in a couple weeks.
Over the 4th of July we will trek to Georgia with Mike's family to see his brother (the plan is to take an RV...we will see). We want to maybe stop in and see Shawn and Tammy while in the area.
Mike still works for Breitbach and is currently busy...yeah.
I still work for CentraCare and though hit by the economy, we have lucked out with layoffs as of yet. Many other healthcare facilities are on their second round of layoffs so we are pretty lucky.
Nothing else is new. Tomorrow is opening fishing and I plan to start the day with my fishing pole in the water casting for pan fish. Hopefully they will be biting.
Happy Mother's day everyone!

Kotten Clan
Ok, I am one of those people that always says I don't have time to be on the computer, but I am going to try harder.
It was nice to see what everyone is up to.
Things are pretty much the same here. I still am working way to many hours. On the average I am putting in about 80 hours a week. The economy is really taking a toll on the restaurant business, so I am trying to pick up the slack by working more hours and cutting everyone elses hours. We are still fighting though. Steve is also working alot. He works for his brother at Kotten Refrigeration in the morning, and goes to what I call his real job (AMPI) in the afternoon.
We really don't see much of each other, but that is how we get along so well--Ha Ha.
Bryan is working for a local roofing contractor. It's been really slow this winter, but he was never laid off. Things are picking up for them now.
Jessica is finishing her 3rd year at Concordia College in Moorhead in a week. She will be coming home this summer and working for me. She has a steady boyfriend named Dustin from Belgrade. They have been dating for a year now, who said long distant relationships don't work.
Anna--Well Anna is defiantly one of a kind. She is graduating this year with honors. She was in volleyball, gymnastics, national honor society, peer tutor, and at times she was a real pain in the butt. She works at the restaurant. She hasn't worked that much lately since her knee surgery, but she is going to start working more now. She has been dating Brett for 3 years now.
She will be going to Central Lakes College in Brainerd for 1 year to get her generals, and then probably transfer to St. Scholastica in Duluth for the physical therapy program.. But who knows that can change to.
Steve and I hopefully will be able to take a couple motorcycle trips this summer, other wise it will be just working and doing some golfing. If anybody is in town this summer and wants to do some golfing, give us a call.
I promise I will try harder to view and write

Rocky Mountain Easter
The community Easter egg hunt is still scheduled for this morning and the eggs have been hidden, but it's snowing so it ought to be fun trying to find eggs! I thought about taking Jason, but I think we'll find something else to do.
It's so good to see our neices and nephews posting. What wonderful lives you are leading.
I know everyone thinks their lives are too busy to take a few minutes to keep in touch, but sorry, no one is THAT BUSY. If you had time to open this blog, you have time to say hello.
As for us, we're still alive. We're working on remodeling a house in New Mexico and will probably move into it this fall. We still have our cows and property in MO.
We're currently caretaking a property of a friend in Durango. Hey Groshens-we have elk that have been coming up onto steps and front porch of the house and apartment. They also got thought it was ok to stand by the car and trucks in the parking garage and rub themselves. Their so friendly---when it's not hunting season!

Hello from Seattle...
Hello, hello...this is Sarah (Angele's youngest) It has been quite awhile, and it's nice to see that everyone (well, a few people anyways) are posting again. It's nice that so many of you have facebook, it seems easier to connect that way for some reason.
As for me, I've been very blessed over the past few years to be able to see some of the most beautiful places in this world, and to also experience the most generous hospitality in some of the most unlikely places. My life at some moments has been like a dream to me. Don't get me wrong, I still have a job and have to go to work like everyone else...but talking 2 months off to travel here and there make it worth it.
I most recently returned from Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. I don't know how to put into words what this trip meant to me..it was very personal, very spiritual, and very eye opening, and it was very difficult to come home. But I'm home now and setting my sights on the next trip. Hopefully a full year traveling through all of Central and South America. I worked in Costa Rica and Panama a few years back but did not have to opportunity to see much else. So back to the grind it is. I'm still serving at the same bar I've been at for almost 3 years now. I'll tell you one thing, in this economy, with so many people getting laid off, I'm very lucky that I work in a bar because no matter what....people will ALWAYS want to get drunk!!
Not too much else happening in Seattle..Just waiting for summer to finally hit so I can go kayaking and play out in the sunshine!! Hope to see more posts from everyone...Take Care.

Ok, I know I’m bad about emailing, blogging etc. but I will try to do better. Does this get me off the hook for not emailing?
I’m still at the Women’s Rights Information Center and it’s busier than ever with the economy in the dumps. I’m also Director of National Shared Housing Resource Council of NY, NJ, DE, and PA. Between the two, I’m at my wits end at the end of the day.
2008 was a rather difficult year for Bill and I. We had 8 friends pass away. We were in WA. quite a bit as Seth’s best friend and my surrogate son, Rob, passed away from leukemia in Sept. It was really a difficult time for my whole family and my heart skips a beat every time I think about Rob. I was so proud of Seth. He was such a wonderful caregiver to Rob. He was with him from the day he was diagnosed, every weekend for 2 years, and was with him the moment he died. Seth is doing well. He’s been at a new job for almost a year now and going to buy the house that he and Sarah currently rent together. Sarah has been wandering the world again. Was in South Africa last spring, and just returned from an extended trip to Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Gili Islands. She’s posted video on youtube.com/redtulie if you want to follow the adventures. For those with sensitive ears, beware that there are a few F bombs. She’s posted some good pics on Facebook also. Nicole is still looking for employment. She was an escrow agent and got laid off during the real estate fiasco. She and Bobby stay very busy with the girl’s activities. Jazzie is quite athletic and involved in basketball and track, and Chloe is in soccer and softball. We don’t have any solid plans for the summer. I’m going back to WA. for Easter and then I think Bill and I will just play it by ear.

Greetings From Tennessee
Greetings from Tennessee, for all of those who don't know Tim and I had a baby see her picture she looks a lot like tim don't you think? lol Seriously though things are great in Tennessee, we still love it here and enjoy the time off we have to go to Shows, see local talent, Dollywood or just hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. We have been working very hard on finisihing projects we started on our home built a shed, a deck and now are building a sidewalk to shed and a dog kennel so we can have another baby little Bear needs a sibling, so Tim and I are trying our best to give her that. Boy am I tired, but life is great in Tennessee we hope ya'll come on down and visit. We are anxiously awaiting Debs visit and plan to take her Zip lining if shes up to it, can't wait to see her. Tim and I are planning a 2 week vacation to Alaska we leave on July 3rd should be an awesome time, we bought a new camera and if we learn how to use it we will post some pictures. In january we are going to Hawaii for a week or so to visit my youngest daughter Abigail who is moving there for a year in May right after graduation. In February we are taking a cruise with my oldest daughter and her husband to the Caribbean. We have a full year planned.
Nathan is graduating from college in May and is looking for a job, he is going to be a police officer, Travis is having surgery on his knee over Easter he hurt it playing basketball he still has another year before graduating as a teacher, and Beth has been evacuated from North Dakota for the time being due to the floods she is currently working as a Social Worker for refugee children.
My youngest son Bart has left to hike the Appalachian Trail all 2185 miles of it he left March 11 and should be gone about 7 months. We are now grandparents to three Rachel had a baby girl in January. We will be heading to Minnesota in May to see them all and go to the graduations of Nate and Abigail. Hope to see some of you Yankees at that time. Well enough from Tennesse we love you all. Tim and Patty the Tennessee Hillbillies!!!

Hello Everyone,
It's been aVery long time since I've posted, so here goes. I'm sure everyone knows I closed the Bakery. Tough economic times. I guess my timing was all wrong. It's been a rough 6 months, but we are getting thru it all. I took the first job that was offered to me, which I absolutly hate, but it's a job, and these days a person can't be too picky about work. Still looking for someting better tho. Oh, I work in a Deli. Robert is doing great after his stroke. He keeps his blood pressure cholesterol and diabetes in tact with diet. He walks 2 miles 3-4 times a week. He want's to retire in June but financially it's just not possible. Corey is doing well, like always! No steady girl friend.
Him and Zach moved a mobile home onto our property. It's well out of the way so we can't even see it from our house. Caleb is doing great. He DOES have a steady girlfriend of 2 years. No plans on marriage tho. Zach is also doing well. He wants in the worst way to by a home, but with the economy and the construction business being so slow it's hard to do that right now. He also has a girlfriend. Nothing serious tho. We really don't have any exciting plans in the future summer months ahead. These days can't really afford to do anything exciting. Well that's about it for my boring life. If anything exciting happens I will make sure I write again, but don't hold your breath!!! HAHA. Hope to here from everyone soon
Love Jody

Hi Everyone. I think it's time we get this blog going again. Let us know what you have been up to and what your plan's are for the summer. It is a nice way to keep in touch with everyone without writing to each person. Some of us are very interested in each and everyone of you, so please drop a few lines, we miss you. I will start.
As most of you know I am still working at Children's Hospital and Medical Center as an Anesthesia Tech. It's an easy job and at the same time very hard emotionally.
Made two trips to FL. and met my beautiful new grandson, Alexander.
Won my lawsuit from my ex- supervisor, thanks to the help from my friend, the attorney I clean house for. OK, not much for the winter. But the fun begin's now. I will be making a trip to North Platte for my Grand daughter's, Trezna, first dance recital. I will be going to Tennessee to see Tim and Patty in August. Can't wait for that trip. I am planning a birthday party for my grand daughter Alexa Cerrio Gonzala. It is her first birthday and they have no family in the states. Raquel and Alex like the party's I throw, so I said I would do it.
The rest of the summer will be cook out's and get together's at my place and lot's of yard work.
Alex said he would replace my driveway and I have a guy going to cut down one of my tree's in the front yard. That shoud be interesting. He will have to close off the street and have people in the apartments across the street move their car's.
Now that I have bored all of you to tears, I hope you all will try to bore me too.
Take Care and hope to hear from everyone.
