A few of you requested I post how I was doing when I get out of the hospital.
I am doing OK now. I still don't have my energy back yet and my temp keeps going up and down,but the pain isnt all that bad now.(drugs are great)I am hoping the Doctors will release me to go to work next week.I have never been off two weeks before and I am going nuts.
Thank you for the phone calls and flowers, they meant a lot to me...I will update you when I have to go back in come Nov..............Debbie

Hi Sherri....I spent five days in the hospital with diverticulitis.It was pretty bad thats why the long hospital stay.The Doctors still havent released me to go back to work yet.Mike and Lynn have been wonderful and so helpful through this, and I have some wonderful neighbors that have also been a great help and have taken great care of Jack during my hospital stay.I will be going back in for surgery in Nov. as soon as the swelling and infection are under control. Until then life goes on,a little slower,but it goes on...Deb

Even though you're not back to work yet, at least you're home. Knowing you, I'm sure you were like a caged animal being in the hospital so long. So surgery is a definite? ugh. Keep us updated. Ang.
